Vicky Pattison has launched her debut handbag collection with LRM Goods, including 14 designs ranging from clutch bags to rucksacks. The British reality star took to Instagram to announce the collaboration, posting 'Over the last year we have created the PERFECT collection for every occasion this autumn and winter and every different taste!... Teaming up with these girls has been a dream, I have always wanted my own handbag range so being able to be involved in the full process has been fab!'.
Delilah Montagu, a London based singer/songwriter, rose to prominence at the age of 19, after inking a deal with Columbia Records and securing a slot as the featured artist on David Guetta and Black Coffee’s Drive in 2018. The Hampshire born musician went on to release her debut EP, In Gold, a year later, filled with 'lyrics about honesty, growing up and coming of age', and was this year asked to be a part of the One World: Together At Home concert curated by Lady Gaga with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization, supporting frontline healthcare workers during the Covid-19 crisis. Montagu, who recently dropped her latest single Loud, which is featured on Spotify's Fresh & Chill playlist, was in Los Angeles working on her debut album with producer Robin Hannibal (Kendrick Lamar, Anderson Paak), before the pandemic hit, but the pair are now finishing off the record from home, with a release date to be confirmed.
Maya Jama, Vogue Williams and Riyadh Khalaf have joined forces with Deliveroo, joining its celebrity panel to decide the 2020 Restaurant of the Year, at an awards ceremony taking place virtually on December 7. Finalists for this year's award are Pizza Pilgrims, The Athenian, Atis, Oro, Rosa’s Thai Cafe, and Dishoom, and British presenter Jama said 'I’m a bit of a takeaway queen so I am absolutely buzzing to be involved in Deliveroo’s Restaurant Awards this year. Last year a restaurant from my hometown Bristol won Restaurant of the Year so I can’t wait to check out the new contenders!'.
Claudia Schiffer has been made into a Barbie doll, in celebration of the German supermodel's 50th birthday. The tribute dolls are dressed in Versace and Balmain, recreating two of Schiffer's iconic looks from her career, and she posted on social media 'Never too old to play with Barbie... @barbiestyle have created a mini Claudia Barbie wearing custom versions of two of my favourite designs by @versace and @balmain'.
Maty Fall Diba, an emerging Senagalese-Italian model, has had an impressive start to her fashion career since submitting her photos to IMG Models and getting signed ‘immediately’ last year. The first year of Diba’s life as a model has taken her from the front cover of Vogue Italia in February to walking in 37 shows during the most recent Spring/Summer season, overcoming both her status as a newcomer and restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic to be named ‘the most prolific model of the season’ by British Vogue. Most memorably, the 19-year-old closed the Dior Cruise 2021 show while walking for the brand for the first time, describing the experience as ‘amazing’.
Kym Marsh fronts Crime+Investigation’s #HereForHer campaign, in partnership with Refuge, supporting victims of domestic abuse by 'driving awareness of important life-saving support services' that the charity provide across the country. The British actress and former singer said 'Many people still believe that domestic abuse is a private matter and many victims of domestic abuse feel isolated from friends or family due to their abusive partners, and feel like they have no one to talk to. That is why I’m championing the #HereForHer initiative to let those victims know there is a community of support available to them, even if they feel like they have nowhere to turn'.
Sister Sledge's iconic hit We Are Family is being re-recorded and released in support of the WHO Foundation, 'in a new and inspiring call for global solidarity to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic and to generate proceeds to address the most pressing global health challenges of our time', premiering November 9. Band member Kim Sledge has worked with global social impact enterprise The World We Want, launching the #WeAreFamily video campaign and inviting people worldwide to star in the music video for the track by uploading their home singalong videos to social media, and commented 'From the doctors and nurses on the front lines, to the paramedics and police, from the midwives and scientists to the carers for the vulnerable, the We Are Family initiative will salute each and every one with a feeling of unity, strength and solidarity in response to the unprecedented challenges the world faces as a result of the coronavirus outbreak'.
