Dixie D'Amelio has been named a brand ambassador for PUMA, and stars in the latest women's campaign, She Moves Us, celebrating 'women who move together to achieve and connect through fashion, community, and sport'. The American singer and social media star is also set to launch her own collection next year, and commented 'I am so excited to join the PUMA Family. Sports, fashion and music are a major part of my life and who I am, so I am beyond thrilled to be working alongside a brand where all three of these things meet'.
Ferne McCann, Candice Brathwaite, Sophie McCartney, and Harry Judd front the newest Play-Doh campaign, testing the new Home Protection Service for parents of messy children, featuring 'a fun and on-hand squad of experts to help protect your homes from children's messy play'. Anne Leonhardi, Marketing Director for Hasbro North Europe, commented 'In an age where people assume kids are glued to screens and aspiring to be social media stars, it’s pleasing to see they’re just as likely to be gluing glitter and modelling dough. Rihanna's beauty brand Fenty has expanded to launch Fenty Eau de Parfum, which captures the 'complex, vibrant, and sensual essence of its creator' and is designed to be worn for all occasions. The singer/songwriter's inspiration comes from her mother, and the new fragrance celebrates 'the deeply personal ritual of applying perfume daily', and will be available exclusively on the Fenty website from August 10. The Consideration hitmaker commented 'That's the thing I love the most: It's an experience, it's a memory, encapsulated into a fragrance. One smell, you'll never forget it'.
Hal Cruttenden stars in the NHS Summer Plasma Pool campaign, which 'encourages people to come forward and consider donating their life saving plasma'. The campaign includes a funny and lighthearted video highlighting how easy it is to donate plasma, showing Cruttenden 'wearing summer clothes, carrying a giant inflatable flamingo, and looking for the pool, before he stumbles upon the plasma pool at the donation centre and heads inside to donate'. The British actor and comedian commented 'I’m joining the life-saving pool of plasma donors this summer. Medicines made from plasma save and changes the lives of 17,000 people a year. It’s a safe and easy process and you’re doing something that is really important'.
Derek Bell has joined forces with British apparel company RetroClassic Clothing to launch a collection which includes four new t-shirts honouring some of the British former racing driver's greatest career victories, showcasing iconic cars including the Porsche 917 and the McLaren F1 GTR. The t-shirts will be available from both RetroClassic Clothing and Bell's official website, and he commented 'Joining forces with RetroClassic Clothing has been a lot of fun. These four races each have a special meaning for me, and to see them being celebrated on this official line of t-shirts brings back some great memories'.
Charles Jeffrey's brand LOVERBOY has collaborated with Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lady Madeleine Lloyd Webber to redesign the Theatre Royal Drury Lane's 'infamous Red Coat' uniforms, as the British composer and his wife began renovating the London theatre last year. Jeffrey shared news of the collaboration on Instagram, posting 'I see the Red Coats as arbiters of information. They have such rich distinction that when I started thinking about how to reinterpret their classic uniforms, I felt compelled to explore red in art and red in semiotics as key vehicles to drive the manifestation of these designs. Working with Andrew, Madeleine and the whole LW Theatres team to find the Red Coats’ place in today’s interpretation of the theatre has been incredibly inspiring'.
Ariana Grande has announced the launch of her new fragrance God is a Woman in partnership with LUXE Brands, which will be available exclusively at Ulta Beauty. The scent is 'inspired by the grand power of nature', and is a 'vegan and cruelty free' product. The American singer/songwriter commented 'I'm beyond thrilled to celebrate the release of our first ever clean fragrance. We have, of course, been cruelty free but taking this next step moving into clean, with responsibly sourced materials and vegan ingredients, is something we are all very proud of.
