Rising Stars: Lash

Lash, hailing from London, recently made his catwalk debut at Virgil Abloh’s first - and historic - Louis Vuitton SS19 menswear show, with a star-studded line-up including Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna and Bella Hadid watching from the front row. The model, part of Skepta’s crew, already counts Grace Ladoja and Naomi Campbell (he calls her 'The queen of the industry'), as friends. Coming down the rainbow runway in an all-white tailored look, Lash noted the importance of Abloh’s appointment as the first black designer at the Parisian house, saying 'Louis Vuitton has always been the one that I’ve looked at, but it’s been so far away. Virgil coming into it changes it completely. I’m just part of a movement right now - I don’t know what movement it is but it’s history and we’re part of it'.
