Irish fashion designer Seán McGirr has announced his departure from Alexander McQueen, following a three-year tenure as the house's Creative Director.

McGirr, who is yet to confirm his next role, commented 'I am incredibly proud of the progressive energy we cultivated as a team... I leave with profound gratitude for the dedication of the studio and atelier, and the craftspeople. I look forward to my next chapter and wish the House every success'.
