Whether it's haute couture or ready-to-wear, the highlight of the fashion calendar is quite simply always Paris Fashion Week. Established in October 1973 under the Fédération Française de la Couture, talent appearances over the years have included the likes of Liza Minnelli, Princess Grace of Monaco, Elizabeth Taylor, Madonna, Rihanna and Pamela Anderson.
At the end of a season which starts in New York and takes in London and Milan, Paris Fashion Week runs September 28 to October 6, with a programme including 68 catwalk shows and 33 presentations across some of Paris's coolest venues, from Palais de Tokyo, Grand Palais, Jardin des Tuileries and Centre Pompidou, to Maxim's, Silencio and L'Arc Paris.
Joining PFW regulars and catwalk favourites Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, Vittoria Ceretti, Bhavitha Mandava and Anok Yai, campaign stars and house favourites expected in Paris this season include Sarah Pidgeon (Balenciaga), Apple Martin (Chloé), Renée Rapp (Stella McCartney), Connor Storrie (Saint Laurent), sombr (Valentino) and Chase Infinity (Louis Vuitton), watched on by front row regulars including Dame Anna Wintour, Vanessa Paradis, Claire Thomson-Jonville, Edward Enninful, Laura Bailey and Law Roach.
With British talent including Victoria Beckham and Stella McCartney, this season welcomes new Artistic Director Drew Henry at Courrèges and Kai Nesselrath's debut at Carven, while Los Angeles-based L'Agence and South African label Maxhosa Africa join the official catwalk schedule for the first time. Notable absences include McQueen (showing in London for the first time in 25 years), and Rabanne, sitting out this season ahead of a March return.
With last year's debut still under the microscope, it's all eyes on the direction Jonathan Anderson takes Dior in, one year into his tenure, and whether Matthieu Blazy can sustain the momentum at CHANEL after his October debut. Despite being dropped as 2027's Met Gala honouree, John Galliano's also in town to launch his two-year creative partnership with Zara.
While the shows and front rows will no doubt dominate the diary, we’re keeping users up to date with all the afterparties and talent appearances, as well as the contacts and social stats, tracking sentiment, follower peaks, engagement and Who’s Trending around the biggest stories. With more than 300 talent profiles on our database already mentioning PFW, we’ll be keeping tabs on the wider conversations too, from the houses and VIPs making an impact to the shows and names attracting the most attention.
