Long Island native Jordan Firstman stormed the Croisette in May 2026 with his directorial feature debut Club Kid, starring Firstman alongside supermodel Cara Delevingne, which premiered to a seven minute standing ovation at Cannes Film Festival.
Receiving rave reviews, a bidding war for distribution rights quickly followed, won out by A24 with a staggering $17 million global rights deal. The 34 year old broke out on the scene with social media comedy skits in 2020, and has since worked in front and behind the camera in a succession of hit shows, from Hacks to Big Mouth. Most recently he starred in Rachel Sennott's hit HBO series I Love LA, the second season of which is currently in pre-production.
