Irish TV presenter Graham Norton has been announced as the newest ambassador of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Norton commented 'As an emerging comedian back in the early nineties, everyone in the industry knew that you had to make the journey to Edinburgh and its Fringe for the opportunities that you have to develop your craft with a live audience, but also to meet and network with the industry people that go there to look for talent'.
