British non-binary and deaf performer Jo Foster is making waves in the London theatre scene.

Since graduating from ArtsEd in 2021, they have had roles in shows including Rent, Legally Blonde The Musical, and & Juliet. In 2023, they starred in the lead role of Oliver in Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ musical Why Am I So Single?. The role garnered attention online and earned them a WhatsOnStage Award nomination for best performer in a musical. From December 2025, Jo is set to take on the role of Jack in Into the Woods at The Bridge Theatre, starring alongside Kate Fleetwood and Gracie McGonigal.
