Memoirs of a Geisha star Zhang Ziyi has been named the latest global ambassador for Jaeger-LeCoultre, and will make her debut for the brand in a new campaign later this month.

The Chinese actress commented 'What fascinates me most about watchmaking is its precision - and the almost obsessive attention to detail it requires... Perhaps my pursuit of nuanced acting parallels a watchmaker's quest for precision'.
