Rising Stars: Peter Claffey

Galway-born Peter Claffey began his career in sport, signing a professional contract with Irish team Connacht Rugby in 2018, before training in acting at Dublin’s Bow Street Academy. The Irish star made his screen debut on Acorn TV’s Harry Wild opposite Jane Seymour, before appearing in Sharon Horgan’s Bad Sisters, BBC Three comedy horror series Wreck, and the Cillian Murphy led film adaptation of Small Things Like These, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2024 to critical acclaim. The 27 year old can also be seen in George R R Martin’s Game of Thrones spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, set to air next year.
