David Pemsel named chair of British Fashion Council

British businessman David Pemsel has been named chair of the British Fashion Council, succeeding Stephanie Phair, and will oversee London Fashion Week in the role. The former Guardian CEO commented on the appointment 'It is a privilege to take on the role of chair of the British Fashion Council and to champion the British fashion industry - arguably our country’s most creative sector – at a time of significant change.'
