Stephen Fry and Dame Emma Thompson support Make My Money Matter campaign

British screenwriter, director and Comic Relief co-founder Richard Curtis has enlisted personalities including Stephen Fry, Dame Emma Thompson and Sir Mark Rylance for his Make My Money Matter campaign. Through the initiative, Curtis has written to the chief executives of the UK’s biggest banks to urge them to stop financing fossil fuel expansion, commenting ‘We hope this weird and wonderful coalition of activists and actors, businesses and brands, celebrities and climate champions puts a fire under the banks to stop them setting fire to the world’.
