Marcus Rashford partners with Burberry to support the National Literacy Trust

Marcus Rashford has joined forces with Burberry to support the British fashion house in its mission 'to provide funding to transform school libraries and donate books, ensuring children have access to safe environments and resources to develop their potential', partnering with the UK National Literacy Trust. Through the initiative, the Manchester United Striker has created the Marcus Rashford Book Club 'to encourage and nurture a love of reading in children', and commented 'Access to books should not be restricted by the area you grow up in. Coming out of the pandemic, there was a huge need for safe spaces - a space where children could come and just breathe; process their feelings. I'm really proud of what we've achieved here... and I hope children will feel the benefit of these spaces for years to come’.
