Susie Dent joins forces with Guide Dogs

Countdown star Susie Dent has revealed she's now a fully trained My Sighted Guide volunteer for Guide Dogs, and is joining forces with the charity to encourage more volunteers to sign up. Dent commented 'It’s heartbreaking to learn how lonely and insecure people can feel when they have sight loss - but a sighted guide partnership can make all the difference in giving them the confidence to get back out and about again. I’ve really enjoyed my training and I hope lots of people around the country are inspired to sign up too'.
