Dame Jane Goodall supports The Save Movement

Dame Jane Goodall has lent her support to The Save Movement's #StopAnimalGifting campaign, recording a video message 'warning that animal gifting programmes hurt gift recipients by burdening them with more mouths to feed in areas where food and water are often scarce'. The legendary primatologist also warned that animal gifts 'worsen the climate crisis, decrease food stability, undermine sustainable development, contribute to animal suffering, and cause health impacts by promoting unhealthy western diets', and instead urged people to support plant-based projects.
