Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge has been named the face of Hovis, fronting a new TV ad to promote its Bakers Since 1886 range. Kerridge commented 'For me Hovis is an iconic British brand that I have loved for years so having this association with them and the opportunity to work on these campaigns is truly exciting. Kayi Ushe, who has appeared in stage productions of The Book of Mormon, Motown The Musical and Crazy For You, is set to take on one of his biggest roles to date, starring as Simba in The Lion King. Playing the part for the first time, the actor will be joined by new faces and returning cast members at the Lyceum Theatre, as it reopens in July after being forced to close due to Covid-19.
