Mesut Özil named Rays of Sunshine ambassador

German footballer Mesut Özil has been named an ambassador for children's charity Rays of Sunshine. The Arsenal midfielder took to social media to share the news, posting 'I’m happy to announce on my birthday, the best present of all which is I have become an ambassador for @raysofsunshinecc! It is also this amazing charity’s 15th birthday this week too and I'm looking forward to continue spreading rays of sunshine by helping grant wishes for seriously ill children across the UK! #15YearsOfSunshine #M1Ö'.
