Micheal Ward, a London based actor, took his first steps into the limelight when he featured in music videos for Giggs, Stormzy and Example, and then went on to appear in fashion campaigns for JD and footasylum. After moving into acting in 2017, Ward signed to Olivia Bell Management and said his dream role would be in the gritty London crime drama Top Boy. Just a year later, the rising star was cast to play the top boy himself, the head of Hackney's drugs scene, in Canadian rapper Drake’s Netflix reboot of the same series. Hot on the heels of this leading role, the actor/model has been signed by Select Model Management, and his next screen project sees him starring in London grime artist Rapman’s anticipated debut feature film, Blue Story, set for release in late 2019.
Jay Sean has been appointed as ambassador of a new Rap and MC undergraduate degree pathway at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), predicting that the course, the first of its kind in the UK, will 'cultivate a new power generation of rap and MC stars with a 360 degree understanding of the urban music industry'. The Down hitmaker, who delivered an exclusive masterclass to students from the music college this week, joins fellow ACM ambassadors including Roger Taylor, Chad Smith, and Kamille, and said 'Thanks to this course these young rappers can learn and level up much faster than in previous years. It’s a fast track to success... If someone had told me back in the day that I could take a course like this and get a degree in the skill sector of MC’ing, rapping, music and the music industry, I would have jumped at it'.

CCDH's Don't Feed The Trolls report draws on research to 'explore the psychology of trolling, why trolls behave the way they do, and the best way to deal with them', and Match of the Day presenter Lineker commented 'We've all be shocked by the way in which racist trolls have been targeting footballers recently... Everyone across the sporting world will be grateful for this guide on how we can show online trolls the red card: don't rise to the bait; block the trolls; and take some time out'.
