Chefs Aldo Zilli and Thomasina Miers, and Waitrose Kitchen magazine editor William Sitwell, have been announced as the judges of Centrepoint's The Big Broth competition, which aims to find the nation's best homemade soup recipe. The competition will give one amateur cook the chance for their recipe to be produced by Yorkshire Provender and sold in Waitrose this winter, with a 20p donation from each pot sold going towards the homelessness charity. Zilli commented 'We will be looking for a soup made with quality ingredients. We want tasty and interesting flavour combinations. Plus, it's important for the winner to have a passion for cooking; we hope they put their heart and soul into the recipe. Youth homelessness is an important cause to get behind and the winner's recipe will genuinely help save lives'.
