Leonardo DiCaprio's conservation organisation Re:wild has teamed up with the Bezos Earth Fund, the philanthropic organisation founded by Jeff Bezos, to launch the Phoenix Species Project, an initiative dedicated to recovering endangered species.

DiCaprio commented 'The Phoenix Species Project has the potential to drastically shift how we approach conservation and combat the climate crisis at a global scale.
