British actress Jodie Whittaker has been appointed an ambassador for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, a West Yorkshire based charity supporting children with life-shortening conditions.

The Dear England star commented 'I'm so proud to have become a charity ambassador for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice. They do incredible work supporting children and families in the area. As someone who was brought up in Huddersfield, where the hospice is based, I couldn't be more honoured to join the team and support such a special and invaluable place'.
