British footballer Jess Carter has been named an ambassador for anti-racism charity Every Future Foundation.

Carter commented 'I have experienced racism throughout my life, not just as a professional footballer but also when I was at school. I understand that for teachers, it can feel like you don't have the right language or tools to intervene. I hope that by working with the charity, I can help teachers understand and identify not just the overt and obvious signs of racism but the microaggressions that can often go unnoticed, and give them the tools and confidence to speak up and act'.
