Emerging football talent Giovanni Leoni has gained media attention after attracting interest from both Liverpool and Inter Milan during the 2025 summer transfer window.

The 18 year old centre-back made his professional debut with Padova in March 2023 at just 16 years old, becoming the youngest player in Italian football that season. Leoni later received a call up to Italy's U17 national team in March 2024, and signed with Parma that August. Whilst his future club remains uncertain, Parma head coach Carlos Cuesta is a fan, commenting 'Leoni is very committed, eager to improve, highly professional and has great potential'.
