In The Style ambassador Dani Dyer has joined forces with the fashion brand to launch a maternity collection, featuring loungewear, knitwear, and 'dressier pieces for day events/baby showers'. The brand took to social media to share images of the pregnant former Love Island winner sporting items from the new range, posting 'During lockdown we asked you all of you what you wanted to see from ITS, and SO many of you said that you wanted a maternity collection so over the last few months we’ve been working with Dani, designers and maternity fit specialists to create the perfect maternity range!'.
C’est Moi ambassador Liza Koshy has unveiled her first capsule collection with the clean beauty brand, One of One by C'est Moi, launching November 16. The American actress and YouTuber said 'For myself, learning the ins and outs of clean beauty alongside the brilliant minds at C'est Moi has been an eye-opening and life-bettering experience. Whether it be your subtle glow, or full glam for show, we hope our collection brings you as many fun-filled moments as it has brought all of us to create it'.
Writer and influencer Zoe Sugg, model and Gurls Talk founder Adwoa Aboah, and Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, have collaborated with WaterAid to design a range of limited edition period bags for the charity's new period subscription box, Fempowered. The aim is to tackle the stigma and taboos around menstruation while raising funds 'to support women and girls around the world to manage their periods safely and with dignity', and Sugg commented 'I’m so proud to be working with Fempowered to bring more attention to the many girls around the world who have to miss school due to a lack of decent toilets or who drop out entirely. A period should never be something that holds anyone back'.
Sophie Williams, a London based writer, speaker and activist, became the 'voice of a movement' when her series of Instagram posts advising people on how to be an anti-racist ally went viral earlier this year. Williams, who co-founded Culture Heroes, a non-profit working to increase non-white representation at a senior level in the advertising and the creative industries, has appeared in publications including The Guardian, Bustle and Cosmopolitan, writing about diversity and inclusion, and has been actively involved in various campaigns and speaking events championing the work of Black creatives. Her debut book, Anti Racist Ally, was released October 2020, and she already has another in the pipeline, Millennial Black, set for release in 2021.
Lily Allen has teamed up with German brand Womanizer to create the Liberty sex toy, also joining the company as its Chief Liberation Officer, leading its #IMasturbate campaign and 'raising awareness for sex positivity and female masturbation'. Johanna Rief, Head of Sexual Empowerment at Womanizer, commented 'For us Lily is the embodiment of our brand: brave, honest, authentic and approachable. We are happy and thankful that we share the same mission which is to wipe out the social stigma around sexuality and pleasure and make sure that future generations grow up in a more liberal and open-minded society'.
Princess Eugenie has been named as the Scoliosis Association UK (SAUK)'s Royal Patron, helping to 'raise the profile of the charity and expand its appeal and its message'. The Royal was born with the condition and had surgery to correct her spine at the age of 12, and Stephanie Clark, co-founder and chair of SAUK, says 'I am absolutely delighted and grateful that Princess Eugenie is to be our Royal Patron. Her bravery and experience makes this a very personal decision, and will continue to offer encouragement to the many people of all ages who are struggling to come to terms with their scoliosis.'
Celebrities including Liam Gallagher, Kate Moss, Boy George, Russell Brand, Anthony Joshua, and Stephen Fry, have taken part in acclaimed photographer Ray Burmiston's Take a Moment photo series, raising funds for mental health charity Mind. The images feature over 250 personalities closing their eyes and 'taking a moment' to reflect, and now people are invited to be part of the virtual exhibition by uploading their own image and donating to Mind, to promote the idea that 'we're all in this together'.
Vicky Pattison has launched her debut handbag collection with LRM Goods, including 14 designs ranging from clutch bags to rucksacks. The British reality star took to Instagram to announce the collaboration, posting 'Over the last year we have created the PERFECT collection for every occasion this autumn and winter and every different taste!... Teaming up with these girls has been a dream, I have always wanted my own handbag range so being able to be involved in the full process has been fab!'.
