Denise Welch supports Age UK
British actress and TV presenter Denise Welch has joined forces with Age UK to support the charity's Walking Football Programme, in partnership with The FA and Sport England, 'supporting older people in communities across England to help them keep active and improve their physical and mental wellbeing'. The programme is aimed at women over the age of 50, and the Loose Women presenter commented 'I loved visiting Age UK’s Walking Football Programme and getting stuck in with the ladies at their session! It’s been such an inspiring time for women and football, especially since the Lionesses’ win! It was fantastic meeting some of the ladies who are proving that we can play football whatever our age - and have a laugh at the same time!'.
